* ASIC is seeking a full time Business Resilience Advisor to join their Business Resilience Team
* Permanent position based in Brisbane
* Salary $97,804 (plus 15.4% superannuation) depending on experience

The team
The Enterprise Risk and Resilience team within the Chief Risk Office provides oversight of ASIC's enterprise risk and Business Resilience frameworks. Its function is embedding and enhancing the risk operating model and enterprise risk framework, business continuity program and crisis management arrangements; monitoring and testing assigned business units against risk and resilience requirements and partnering management on good risk and resilience practice.
The role
As a Business Resilience Advisor, you will be accountable for:
* Coordinating the annual Business Continuity Programme across all business areas.
* Providing a high level of support and assistance to the business where Business Impact Analysis (BIAs) and Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) need to be developed and/or reviewed.
* Supporting the Crisis Management and Incident Management Teams during activations to ensure effective enterprise management of disruptive events.
* Assisting in the maintenance of resources, systems, training and exercising for the Crisis and Incident Management teams.
* Coordinating ASIC's emergency management process across all offices.
* Assisting with the development and maintenance of the Business Resilience Policy and Framework.
* Developing and maintaining appropriate collateral to support the Business Resilience capability uplift requirements.
* Preparing and presenting reports, data analysis and documentation reflecting outcomes for Business Resilience.
* Contributing to new methods to meet data needs across business continuity, incident management and emergency management. Enhance effectiveness of insight through contributing to improved data management.
* Actively working to build and maintain effective relationships with the business to provide subject matter expertise, upskill existing knowledge and awareness of Business Resilience.
* Assisting with the review of business continuity risks and supporting the testing of controls to ensure that organisational responses and business continuity plans remain fit for purpose.
* Assisting with review of ASIC's compliance to Business Resilience Policies, Framework, including compliance with evolving Business Resilience regulatory requirements and industry standards.
* Ensuring emergency responses comply with current standards and practices.
About you
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience, in Crisis Management and Business Continuity Management in large corporate entities or government environments.
* Demonstrated experience in assisting the management of emergency responses or disruptive events in a corporate environment including guiding management through exercises.
* Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
* Demonstrated relationship management skills to engage and influence a multidisciplinary work force.
* Demonstrated high-level analytical skills.
* Demonstrated experience in using electronic registers and workflow systems including generating data reports.
