The Risk, Compliance and Audit team have the opportunity to work closely with all areas of the university to provide guidance and support in managing risk and compliance. The team promotes a culture of transparency, accountability, and good governance, which contributes to the long-term success and continuity of the university. The successful Business Resilience Manager will possess expertise in business continuity and resilience management and operate with a high degree of autonomy under broad direction from the Senior Manager, Risk and Compliance.

Your Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

As an experienced Business Resilience Manager, you will leverage your expertise to oversee and support the university's business continuity and resilience management function. This entails offering specialized advice on incident response and ensuring the effective application of business continuity and resilience policies and procedures across various university departments.

Key Duties of the role:

• Provide strategic support, expert advice, and facilitate discussions on business continuity and resilience.
• Ensure the attainment of performance standards and KPIs.
• Deliver professional advice on prevention and management of high-risk incidents, both domestically and overseas, including travel-related matters.
• Regularly monitor and enhance management policies and procedures.
• Foster professional networks with internal and external stakeholders, collaborating closely with key university service providers.

Qualifications required to be successful in the role include:

• Qualifications and/or extensive experience in Emergency Response Management, Crisis Management, Disaster Management, or Business Continuity Management.
• Demonstrated planning and management skills, coupled with the ability to provide strategic advice and make informed judgments.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate complex technical knowledge to diverse audiences.
• Previous industry experience, especially within organizations with a global footprint and exposure to foreign jurisdictions.
