We are currently seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst / Technical Writer to join our talented team.
The Business Systems Analyst / Technical Writer will provide strong analytical skills to interpret and translate client requests into engineering requirements.
This role requires excellent technical writing skills in order to develop requirement documents for existing product lines along with new capabilities, user manuals, technical specifications and data sheets. This position also requires liaising with clients and the engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of projects and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Developing clear, concise and accurate technical documents for existing product lines along with new capabilities, user manuals, technical specifications and data sheets
- Creating Jira stories and epics against use cases and requirements
- Documenting technical specifications
- Collaborating with engineers, project managers and other stakeholders to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into user-friendly documentation.
- Drafting reports and other documentation for client projects
- Conducting quality control checks to guarantee the accuracy and completeness of technical documents.
- Understand Quality, Safety and Environmental principles and adherence to Department 13 processes and work instructions which relate to these matters
Qualifications & Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in an IT related field
- 3 or more years as a Business Analyst within the technology industry
- Experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder management and process mapping
- Experience in working with and interpreting engineering data in support of the creation of technical documentation
- Experience in writing high quality business and functional documentation
- Project Management experience would be viewed favourably
