We are currently seeking an experienced Buying Assistant to join our dynamic team and be part of the growth journey.
Key Responsibilities
This is a diverse buying administration role that encompasses many responsibilities to support the buyer and the team. You will be communicating with suppliers and customers to ensure the smooth process of orders and delivering the products to the customers in a timely and hassle free manner.
General Duties
- Provide timely support to the Buyer and the team in all buying administration aspects
- Raise and maintain product codes and specifications
- Support buyer in preparation of quotations and presentations
- Coordinating, checking and assisting with packaging requirements.
- Sample management
- On-going liaison with suppliers and customers
- Managing production schedules
- Assist with production samples and Quality Control assessments
Skills and Experience
This position requires a person with:
- 2+ years experience in a Buying assistance related role
- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Ability to multi-task
- Intermediate to Advanced MS Office Excel Skills
- Experience in the retail sector is a plus
This is a full time position.
