The Role
Now we are the sole supplier to GemLife, we have had an increase in the volume of kitchens and other cabinetry required at our multiple locations, we are seeking two experienced Trade Cabinet Makers/Trade Assistants to join our busy factory in a full-time capacity. We know that the market is tough out there and are prepared to pay good rates for the best! Dependant on experience rates are between $35 and $40 per hour.
Your main focus will be quality in-factory construction of cabinetry units for our resorts. Gemstone Joinery have years of ongoing work. Our teamwork 8hrs per day, you can choose between 5am to 1.30pm (11.30 on Fridays) or 6am to 2.30pm (12.30pm on Fridays) + applicable overtime as needed, enjoy an early finish every day!! Our team are paid above Award rates + appropriate penalties $40+ per hour dependant on skill level.
To be successful you will bring:
- Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience as a Cabinet Maker
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent workmanship
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment & meet deadlines.
- A can-do attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
- Certificate III in Cabinet Making is preferable but not essential.
