AddressKnebel Kitchens and N & J Joinery have an exciting employment opportunity for an experienced Cabinet Vision Draftsperson specializing in detailed joinery and cabinetry.
We have been established for over 55 years and are the most awarded kitchen and Joinery manufacturer in Sydney. Join our friendly and experienced team at our Ingleburn head office and manufacturing facility.
We have a mixture of joinery projects that are generated from the following;
1. Knebel Kitchens - luxury kitchen showrooms
2. Residential home builders clients.
3. Select Commercial and industrial construction companies
The role and responsibilities include;
- A comprehensive working understanding of Cabinet Vision, with an ability to draft detailed cabinets
- Interpret architectural drawings and drafting in Cabinet Vision to the required specifications
- Send jobs to CNC machines and understanding S2M requirements
- Manage the nesting of projects to aid in automation and efficiency of the factory
- Perform material take-offs that identifies all items required across the project
- Manage all steps, troubleshoot issues, to prepare and optimise joinery parts
- Produce detailed shop and assembly drawings for reference by staff in the factory and site installers
- Communicate with the Factory and Site regarding job details
Skills needed include:
- Cabinet Vision demonstrated high level experience
- Have a minimum of 10 years’ experience drafting in the residential cabinet-making industry
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and diagrammed instructions
- Proficient in the use of S2M software and other computer programs
- Be a good team player, communicate and work well with others
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work unsupervised and also part of team
- Adhere to and strive for high quality standards
