Cable Layers / Operators

Benang presently have multiple opportunities for various Cable Layers/Operators to join our Power Infrastructure delivery teams across Perth Metropolitan and regional areas. 

Skills/Experience Required for the Role

• Minimum of 3 years experience in Power Underground Services experience including Construction or Maintenance services. 
• Knowledge and experience in:
  • Cable Laying of LV & HV Cable
  • Excavating, Plunking, Non Destructive digging
  • Installation of Street Lights, Transformers etc. 
• Western Power Inductions 
• Cable Laying Ticket
• Excavator Ticket
• MR/HR/HC Licenses
• CPR
• White Card
• Ability to plan daily works and be proactive.
• Ability to lead a team and/or work as part of one.
• Willingness to learn and take directions.
