Form of workThe Opportunity:
Working on 7 days on 7 days off roster rotating day and night shift.
Mine Site: Cannington Mine - North West of QLD.
FIFO: available from Brisbane, Townsville & Cairns.
Camp: on site features a variety of facilities including a modern canteen and accommodation. Our Camp sites currently have:
- En-suite rooms with air conditioning and Wi-Fi
- Good quality and consistent standard of meals
- Clean camp site with large array of facilities & activities
The Role
As an experienced Cable bolter, you will have to demonstrate:
- Cable Bolt drill experience with Sandvik equipment.
- Ability to read and understand cable bolt layouts.
- Strong knowledge & understanding of ground support standards.
- Responsible for application of the whole cable bolting process in an underground mine.
- Safe and efficient installation of cable bolts for mine rehabilitation and ground support.
- A work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto Consider it done — safely.
