About the role
* This role will see an enthusiastic and experienced cabinet maker work on a variety of jobs for clients in a wide range of different industries. Working in a well equipped manufacturing facilities including an onsite veneering and polishing shop, you will take ownership of the project from start to finish. Long term career opportunity with the potential to move to a Draftsman or Project Manager role
Key Responsibilities
* Craft custom made, bespoke joinery items for a range of commercial clients including hotels, childcare centres, hospitals and offices.
* Interpret and work from detailed blueprints, drawings, and client specifications.
* Manage the project from start to completion..
Ensure safety and environmental requirements are met and contribute to the maintenance, organisation and cleanliness of the state of the art workshop.
Skills & experience
* Completed relevant trade certificate in cabinet making/joinery
* Ability to read plans and cutting lists
* Knowledge of types of timbers, laminates and veneers
* Self motivated and capable of working both independently or as part of a team
* Able to manage time effectively and complete work to a high degree of detail and quality
* Salary is defined on skill and experience
