Simple Coffee House is a busy coffee shop/catering business in the heart of Southport CBD. Our business is growing rapidly so we need to add to our already strong team! Our focus is on providing exceptional coffee every time, amazing food, and treating our customers with awesome service every day.

About You:

You love making great coffee and providing your customers with a great experience. You're the type of person who likes to exeed expectaions and you have the ability to remeber your cusomer's names and coffee orders. You're a great communicator and you thrive on feedback and personal growth and you love early starts

The best fit for this role will be someone who has worked in both front, and back of house roles with the ability to multi-task a quickly prioritize roles. You are able to work closely with a well established team of legends who love what they do. You're  willing to roll your sleeves up and get the work done. Teamwork and speed of service are a priority. Previous experience in a fast-paced cafe environment is essential.

 A welcoming disposition and flair for customer service will ensure you nail this role. 

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Cafe All-rounder to join the crew. The role will be a mix of making coffee, customer service, and simple food preparation.

This role has an immediate start available. 30-35 hours available depending on the candidate. We trade seven days a week, early morning to late afternoon. Candidates must have availability to work early mornings from 5:30am, afternoons/early evenings, weekends and public holidays but you won’t be expected to work all of the time because we pride ourselves on our flexibility and team culture.

Key Selection Criteria - Cafe all Rounder:

• Outgoing, friendly personality
• Genuine love of hospitality
• 2+ years experience in a busy cafe
• Barista experience with solid latte art
• Experience in food preparation and handling
• Customer service experience
• POS experience
• Fast paced and able to work under pressure
• The ability to work autonomously and within a team
• Knowledge of WHS and Food Safety procedures
• Catering experience (an advantage but not essential)
