Position objectives
The Cafe & Theatre Attendant will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service to visitors, customers, and users of Mildura Arts Centre.
- Serve customers efficiently with food and beverage orders and take payments in Vista Cafe Bar.
- Assist with cafe bar operations activities and undertake Theatre Attendant duties as directed.
Qualifications and experience
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:
- Demonstrated Hospitality experience – front of house/back of house.
- Hold a current certificate in Food Handlers, and Responsible Service of Alcohol.
- A good standard of verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrated ability to operate Point of Sale, PC Software Systems and word processing applications.
- Hold a current satisfactory police check or willing to obtain one.
- Hold a current Working with Children’s Check or be willing to obtain one.
Salary and conditions
The position is classified within Band 3 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $40.4132 per hour plus statutory superannuation.
