About the role

In this role you will bring your passion for working with children to our supportive team to provide quality education and care services. You will work with a team of dedicated educators and assistants to create a stimulating, positive and inclusive environment that reflects the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) whilst maintaining the elements of the National Quality Standards (NQS).
Be innovative and motivated to assist in leading a Centre to become the Centre of choice for families within the local community.
- Evaluating and keeping appropriate records.
- Have a strong, confident and motivated personality with an ambition to provide education and care standards of excellence.
- Commitment to the ECA Code of Ethics.
- Supervising and supporting educators with programming and daily duties.
- Liaising and consulting with parents whilst maintaining confidentiality.
- Comply with and maintain updated Centre policies and procedures.
- Ensure the safety & well being of all stakeholders (children, educators and families)
- Support, guide and promote positive behaviors
- Commitment to ongoing learning and self development.

Skills and experience
Diploma/ Cert III candidates must have:
- Cert III, Diploma In Early Childhood or ECT
- Knowledge of current Regulations, National Quality Standards, Children safe guidelines and ECA code of Ethics and experience in planning, programing, and observing with willingness to learn.
- skills that inspires and engages team members commitment
- a working with children check
- experience within the childcare industry is preferable
- and understanding of EYLF (Early Years Learning Framework)
- well in a team environment and individually
- verbal and written communication skills
Candidates must have:
- Current first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis training
- Working hours between 7am and 6pm
- Good communication skills
- Worked within the childcare industry
