The position:
Camp Maintenance Electrician
Reporting to the Electrical Superintendent, this position is located in the Accommodation Village of 350 rooms. This position is part of our Mine Infrastructure Team and operates as Day Shift with Call Out sometimes required. The position is responsible for the safe operation of Electrical equipment and facilities for the Village. You will be a person who takes pride in their work, can effectively manage their time and work and have experience with:
- Commercial Catering Machinery – Ovens, Bain Maries, Dishwashers, Clothes Dryers, Washing Machines, Freezers & Refrigerators (Electrical)
- Low Voltage Power Distribution – 240/415V power systems
- Lighting, Small Power, Electric Water Heating
- Standby Power Generators
- Split system air-conditioning
- Statutory Testing & Tagging & RCD Testing
Essential Criteria:
- Motivated Person who takes pride in their work
- A current WA Electrical Workers Licence
- Current Western Australian Driver’s Licence for manual Motor Vehicle
- Current Police Clearance (no less than 3 months old)
- The right to work in Australia
Desirable:
- Maintenance experience
- Experience in the repair of Commercial Washing Machines and Dryers and Commercial Kitchen equipment.
- Cert III Refrigeration and Airconditioning
You will be required to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen.
