The Role
This position is a hands-on-role, reporting directly to the Environment Manager or Supervisor.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting campers in site selection
  • Trouble Shooting any issues raised by campers
  • Identifying and correcting minor maintenance issues
  • Identifying and organising maintenance teams assistance with major issues
  • Hands on role in Campground cleaning and grounds maintenance
  • Enforcing site Campground policies, as per operating procedures, eg no generators, no fires
  • Liaise with Campground Tour Groups to ensure all needs are met
About You
You will have a calm, cool as ice and positive 'glass half full' approach to dealing with day to day issues. A great admiration for living in a remote wilderness paradise and have a love for the great outdoors!
You will have the following experience:
  • Working within resorts or similar remote living environment (preferred)
  • Working with hand tools/power tools, mowers, slashers, etc
  • Driving a 4WD and owns a manual licence
  • Time management
  • Team focused
  • Guest focused
  • Experience in maintaining a safe and clean campground environment
  • Self-motivation and proactive approach

This is a remote role, where you will be living and working at El Questro. As such, please consider the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time. This role includes extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery
