What’s the job?
Reporting to the Operations and Applied Training Director, the role of the Campus Life Coordinator is to ensure that our campuses are engaging, accessible and collaborative learning spaces for our students, partners and the local community.
The Campus Life Coordinator is responsible for delivering the campus activation strategy developed by the Campus Director as well as supporting the experience of all students on campus, while providing specialist assistance for the International Students linked to the campus.
This role is full time permanent and based in our Leura campus (Blue Mountains). Due to the nature of the role, we'd love you to always be based on campus, but we will consider other flexible working arrangements. Whilst the recruitment process will begin now, we are looking for someone who can ideally start in January 2024.
Note: You must hold full ongoing working rights in Australia. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
Day-to-day accountabilities:
Coordinate Campus activities for students, industry and staff including (but not limited to) events, campus tours and student activities
Coordinate staff and student communication on campus (newsletters, signage, notices, digital display), the delivery of Orientation including hosting the International Student Welcome session
Work collaboratively with other teams to provide support to our international students, offering guidance to students on how to get the most from their university experience and adjust to life in Australia through hosting drop in sessions
Work closely with SRC supporting their initiatives and providing guidance
Assist with Campus administration

Who you are
We are looking for someone who is organised, creative, who is energised by building relationships and creating amazing experiences for others. Ideally, you will come with:
Demonstrated experience in a front of house, customer service or customer experience role (you may come from the hospitality or event industry, or have a student services background )
Demonstrated experience in running and organising events
Ideally, you also like to be creative and will have demonstrated skills with online graphic design tools like Canva​
An understanding of the higher education environment would be advantageous but not essential.
Demonstrated planning skills and an ability to prioritise, with the ability to take initiatives and bounce back when things don't go to plan.
