About the Role

We are looking for a Capacity and Availability Management individual to join our team. To support the delivery of the Service Continuity Planning (SCP) and the Disaster Recovery programs of work as well as ensuring both meet Fujitsu required quality and performance standards. The role holder is responsible for supporting the establishment of and contributing to the improvement of the systems and /or frameworks in place to ensure robust governance, risk & business continuity management across the Region.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with and support the SCP & DR program of works.
  • Contribute to effective performance monitoring of business processes, services, and related performance issues. Assist with the development of service improvement plans to enhance the quality of company performance.
  • Ensure SCP management policies, processes, and procedures are up-to-date and adhere to client/Fujitsu Document Management System, ISO standards and Business Continuity Institute (BCI) Good Practice Guide
  • Contribute to the exercise and maintenance of the SCP for client /Fujitsu.
  • Participate in projects that focus on Service Improvements, Quality Management, and Service Continuity
  • Champion the effective use of Service Improvement frameworks and methods using ITIL, ISO:9001, ISO:20000, and ISO:14001
  • Proactively contribute to service improvement programs and initiatives to operational framework and function by identifying and suggesting ideas or opportunities to improve processes and work practices that drive technical and business resilience.
  • Contribute to team effectiveness by offering value, adding suggestions at meetings, providing learning feedback/comments and support to others that aim to improve team performance and staff motivation, and assisting other members of the team.
  • Assist in the exercising of all SCPs across client/Fujitsu to meet BC Policy requirements.
  • Monitor the updating of all Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and SCP documents across client.
  • Contribute to improvements to the Business Continuity (BC) framework consulting with stakeholders as required.
  • Contribute to reporting about the effectiveness of the SCP.

Required Skills:

  • Ideally experience of BCP/SCP in an ICT industry
  • Strong understanding of controls and control assessment techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data analytics and interpretation
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of DR concepts.
  • Well organised, flexible, and adaptable. Able to work to deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage and influence internal and external stakeholders and relationship management skills, with evidence of working effectively and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with emphasis on achieving results and successful outcomes through consultation, collaboration, and conciliation.
  • Must have current or reinstatable AGSVA Security Clearance.
