The Role
Reporting to either Paul Rees, Manager Westernport and Peninsula, or Ben English, Manager Werribee, these roles will support the initiation of minor capital projects to deliver on waterway revegetation targets under the Healthy Waterways Strategy. This will be achieved through:

  • Coordination with Waterways and Land Officers to support the delivery of on ground capital projects that maintain and improve waterways, land and drainage assets
  • Undertaking spatial mapping and capture of project objectives
  • Capturing capital project requirements across all of Melbourne Water’s systems
  • Working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to coordinate the initiation of projects
Your Skills and Experience
  • Experience in waterway, drainage and land asset management, natural resource management, waterway planning and rehabilitation practices
  • Knowledge of statutory planning processes would be beneficial
  • Strong systems knowledge and experience essential, ideally in Project Online, Maximo and/or ESRI (GIS)
  • Demonstrated ability to work and contribute in a team environment to improve processes, respond to various demands and manage multiple activities simultaneously
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
