We are seeking a Carbon and Sustainability Lead who will lead the development and implementation of
our sustainability strategy, manage carbon projects, and collaborate with teams for a consumer-focused
carbon offset platform. Our ideal candidate will possess a degree in law, accounting or environmental
science, experience in international carbon markets, and a passion for sustainability. If you have excellent

CARBON AND SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVES:

Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with the company's
mission and goals.
Oversee the companies carbon projects, including the development and implementation of emission
reduction strategies.
Manage the process of managing, obtaining and monetizing carbon credits.
Manage all carbon project audits and reporting requirements.
Work alongside the companies; software, sales and marketing teams to assist with the development
and release of the companies’ consumer focused fractionised carbon offset platform
Participate in industry functions and engagements relating to the companies’ carbon initiatives.
Monitor and report on sustainability performance, setting and tracking targets.
Lead the growth of the companies’ carbon initiatives and the development of a team of people to
meet growth expectations.

COMPLIANCE AND REPORTING:

Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and reporting requirements related to carbon
emissions and sustainability efforts.
Prepare and submit sustainability reports to relevant stakeholders.

STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT:

Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to promote sustainable practices and
carbon reduction initiatives.

Engage with government agencies, environmental organizations, and industry associations to stay
current on regulatory changes and industry best practices.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's or higher degree in law, accounting, environmental science, sustainability, or a related
field.
Previous experience in the trading of carbon credits and carbon markets especially international
markets.
Previous experience in carbon legal affairs and sustainability management is an asset.
Previous experience in developing and submitting carbon projects with various accredited carbon
bodies. (Experience with bodies outside of Australia especially Verra preferred)
Strong understanding of environmental regulations, carbon accounting, and sustainability practices.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Passion for sustainability and a commitment to environmentally responsible practices.
