AddressOur specialist practice requires an energetic and motivated team member to fill a full-time Cardiac Physiologist (General) position in our office at Darwin Private Hospital.
NT Cardiac Pty Ltd (NTC) is a Northern Territory owned and operated independent cardiology medical Practice which provides services to both public and private patients. The practice is dedicated to providing excellence in patient care, delivering the highest standard of health care across the Northern Territory.
As part of the NT Cardiac team, your key responsibilities will be to provide non-invasive cardiac investigations including:
- Performing, analysing, and interpreting ECGs, Holter Monitors, Blood Pressure Monitors and Event Monitors
- Assisting clinicians with Exercise Stress Testing and Tilt Table Testing
- Assisting with ongoing Pacemaker and AICD follow-ups
The ideal applicant will possess:
- Completion of an undergraduate degree in Science / Health Science / Exercise Science
- Previous experience as a Cardiac Physiologist with an understanding of the principles of ECG analysis and interpretation
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to respond sensitively to patient needs
- Interest in learning and developing new skills
Successful applicants will require full working rights in Australia and undergo a Police and Working with Children check.
You will be rewarded with an annual salary package dependent on skills and experience.
