Global Cardiology is one of Western Australia's leading privately owned Cardiology practices with multiple locations throughout the metropolitan area.  At Global Cardiology, we are dedicated to providing patient centric health care services of the highest quality.

Due to expansion, we are looking for full time Cardiac Technicians for NOR or SOR. The main focus of the Cardiac Technician role will be the provision of diagnostic services in Cardiology. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and perform cardiac tests and screenings on patients, such as exercise stress testing, holter monitors, and ambulatory blood pressure monitors.
  • Assist Sonographers with treadmill testing during stress echocardiography and exercise stress test.
  • Provide data and assist with the production of a technical report for the patient.
  • Promptly advise the Cardiologist or senior medical staff of any patient findings that require immediate clinical attention.
  • Accurately record patient data and reports into the electronic medical record system or other records management systems as required.
  • Preserve confidentiality and privacy of all the patient information and records.
  • Ensure technical equipment is maintained
  • Communicate, liaise and coordinate with medical, administrative and reception staff
  • Comply with all policies, procedures and by-law
  • Excellent under-pressure performance and quick decision-making skills.

Qualifications and Experience recommended: 

  • Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology / Biomedicine / Nursing/Medical Science/Cardiac Technician or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Cardiac Technician.
