About the role

LHG is seeking a Level 2 Registered Nurse to join the residential care team at our Fullarton location for a parental leave cover contract. This exceptional role primarily entails clinical leadership responsibilities. It presents a chance to progress in your career or further develop your current skills and knowledge. Collaborating closely with the General Manager and Care Manager, you will play a key role in providing first-class, individualised care for each resident using a strengths-based approach.

Key Duties

Improving the quality of life and health of residents requires working closely with important partners and establishing strong clinical governance. Empowering residents and their families involve providing thorough education and advocating for their rights and responsibilities. Supporting and guiding the care team fosters a cooperative atmosphere focused on excellence and continuous growth. Actively engaging in quality and risk management is essential for meeting standards and promoting ongoing improvement.

About you

A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or equivalent) and current registration with AHPRA are requirements for this role. Previous experience in a Clinical Nurse or Care Coordinator role in aged care or a similar setting is preferred but not essential. Strong skills in clinical assessment and documentation are necessary. Leadership qualities are also highly regarded. Excellent people skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals are essential. Effective time management skills are needed to oversee a busy workload, meet deadlines, and provide support to colleagues.
