Duration: Full-time casual / potential for full-time permanent in future
Work Conditions: 40+ hour weeks, option for ABN hourly to start with or wages if preferred

Job Description:
Our company is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in South Brisbane. We specialize in a range of carpentry work including residential, commercial, and renovation projects.

Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting project plans and blueprints
• Measuring, cutting, and shaping materials
• Installing structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
• Maintaining and repairing existing structures
• Collaborating with project managers and other tradespeople on site
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within set timelines
• Adhering to safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

• Several years of experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry
• Proficiency in interpreting and working with blueprints, schematics, and plans
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction materials and methods
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and other construction equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to a high standard
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Own tools and transportation
• Valid driver's license and white card
