Mayfield are currently hiring Carpenters, Roofing Plumbers & Trades Assistants!

Full-Time, Permanent (Flexible options also available)

In 2018, we opened our Western Australian manufacturing facility. Through continued growth, we have vacancies for experienced Carpenters, Roofing Plumbers & Trades Assistants to join our workshop based transportable substation construction team at our modern manufacturing facility located at Henderson.

Have you had prior experience in either: 

• Steel beam and purlin structural assembly?
• Electrical fabrication and assembly?
• Structural steel erection; erecting portal frames, wall frames and roof trusses?
• CFC floor installation?
• Installation of insulation, sarking, cladding and flashings?
• Door installation, grid mesh and handrail installation?
• Quality inspections?

TA Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 2-years relevant experience (Essential).
• General fabrication skills (Essential).
• Previous transportable building experience (Highly Desirable).
• White Card (Essential).
• Trade Certificate (where applicable)
• First Aid (Desirable).
• High Risk Work-EWP’s (Desirable)
• Working at Heights (Desirable)
• Rigging (Desirable)
• Forklift (Desirable).

CarpenterQualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 2-years relevant experience (Essential).
• General fabrication skills (Essential).
• Previous transportable building experience (Highly Desirable).
• White Card (Essential).
• Trade Certificate (where applicable)
• First Aid (Desirable).

Roof Plumber Qualifications& Experience:

• Minimum 2-years relevant experience (Essential).
• General fabrication skills (Essential).
• Previous transportable building experience (Highly Desirable).
• White Card (Essential).
• Trade Certificate (where applicable)
• First Aid (Desirable).

As a manufacturer, our teams are largely workshop based however occasional industrial site travel may be required. Pay rates may vary depending on experience with opportunities for career progression.
