About the role:
Our client, a highly respected locally based Carpentry organisation who specialises mainly in new home builds, is now offering an opportunity for a hard-working and self-motivated, individual to commence an Apprenticeship. They are currently seeking a 2nd, 3rd of 4th Year apprentice in the field.
Our organisation is focused on providing support and mentoring to the successful apprentice as well as providing on the job training for 4 years. About you:
- Drivers license & reliable transport required
- Genuine interest in pursuing a career in Carpentry
- White/OHS Card
- Must be Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Attend accredited RTO/TAFE training (Paid for by Kestrel)
- Hard working & dedicated
What you will do:
- Domestic fit outs
- Erecting framework and roof framing
- Assisting Tradesman
- Assembling prepared wood to form structures
- Operating various hand tools and power tools
