The Apprenticeship
Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30211)
Statewide Apprenticeships seeks an apprentice Carpenter to join our team, which is based in Kadina and working throughout the region.
This is a full-time apprenticeship. The apprentice must work a minimum of 38 hours per week and will be paid according to the relevant award unless otherwise advised.
Duties may include
• 1st & 2nd Fix building
• Measuring, cutting and fixing timber
• Erecting wall frames
• Renovation & extension work
• All areas of general building
• Using a range of hand and power tools
About you
• Have completed some form of work experience, training or employment within the construction industry (desirable)
• Possess a driver’s licence (P’s acceptable or will have in a few months)
• Hold a White Card (or willing to get prior to commencement)
• Be physically fit, as this is a labour-intensive job
• Able to pass a drug & alcohol test
• Be committed to undertaking a 48-month apprenticeship
