  • Employment Term: Part-time, max term until 30 June 2026 
  • Location: Based at Auchenflower
  • Remuneration: $82,038.48 (pro-rata)  + 11% super + NFP salary packaging

Your part in our UnitingCare Community team

We are currently seeking to appoint a Case Worker to work as a part of Clare Homes Supported Accommodation Program on a maximum term part-time basis (22.8 hours per week). Funded by the Department of Housing under the Immediate Housing Response for Families (IHRF), this position will assist and support homeless families to obtain immediate housing as well as working towards independent longer term housing solutions. The position will provide outreach and mobile support to families.
 

What makes a difference for us?  

  • Demonstrated experience working within the community services sector, in particular in the field of homelessness.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant human services field is preferred
  • Demonstrated competence in oral and written communication including proficiency in Information
  • Technology systems (including Microsoft Office,particularly Word and Excel) for data entry and reporting
  • Ability to actively engage with families who have a range of complex needs and to respect the cultures of all people you support and work alongside
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as responsibly within an autonomous setting
  • Commitment to learning and professional development including participation in regular supervision
  • Commitment to working within the beliefs, mission and values of UnitingCare Queensland

In addition to the above you will also be required to have:

  • Qld Suitability Card for Child Related Employment (Blue Card)
  • Current Drivers Licence.
