We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Casual Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to join our agency and work across various aged care facilities. As an AIN, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to elderly residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents with personal care activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Supporting residents with mobility and transferring as needed.
- Assisting with meals and feeding residents who require assistance.
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Observing and reporting any changes in residents' condition to nursing staff.
- Adhering to infection control and safety protocols at all times.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided.
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support (or equivalent qualification).
- Previous experience working in aged care settings preferred.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications (desirable).
- Flexible work arrangements to suit your availability.
