Who we are:
Join a brand new cafe in the heart of Toongabbie that is about to open in a newly built space that will host one of the biggest Health Centers at the Western Suburbs.
This uniquely designed cafe, has already a philosophy and a story behind it aiming to serve good quality coffee together with healthy and nutritional meals. The cafe will be based under the same roof with one of the largest Medical centers that have ever operated in the district, one of the busiest and biggest pharmacies as well as an additional allied health center. The cafe will be having direct street access and the most premium location in the building making very easily accessible by everyone.
The premises are also offering 60 underground car parks dedicated to Medical, pharmacy & cafe operations, and this incredible new health center together with the Green cafe is about to change the look and feel of the shopping section of the town, and make headway for a new era of health, wellness and cafe experience for the entire community.
About the role:
We are seeking casual Barista/Café All Rounder that can play a critical role in ensuring that every guest receives an exceptional experience.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Crafting a variety of high-quality coffee beverages with precision and consistency.
- Providing friendly and attentive customer service, ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued.
- Operating various café equipment including espresso machines, grinders, and POS systems.
- Assisting with food preparation, including assembling light snacks and pastries.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the café, including the service area and seating areas.
- Collaborating with team members to uphold café standards and contribute to a positive work environment.
In order to be successful for this role, you will need to demonstrate a hands on attitude, have an over the top positive and friendly approach to all customers, a great passion for customer service and the ability to act under pressure and provide solutions that will assist in the everyday operations of the business.
What we're looking for:
This is a casual role including 2-3 shifts per week.
The cafe is open 7 days a week, for breakfast, lunch and dessert and we welcome applications for shifts on weekends and weekdays.
