Casual Bingo Attendant - Cazalys Cairns

To continue to provide a high level of customer service to our members following increasing demand of our bingo sessions,  we require an experienced casual Bingo Attendant to join our team. Cazalys now offers Bingo seven days a week and continues to increase our offering to our customers. 

Essential criteria successful candidates must meet:

• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• This is a casual position offering 25-30 hours per week.
• Ability to work 5pm-9pm Wednesday and Thursday and Saturday and Sunday morning

This position is responsible for the successful and effective coordination of all aspects of bingo including compliance with Legislation in relation to bingo and its operations.

Candidates must be able to work across weekdays, evenings and weekends in line with times when being sessions are conducted.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Hold a working knowledge of all areas of bingo including selling, calling, correct payout % calculations and understanding how games are played.
• Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG)
• Excellent customer service and problem solving skills.
• Willingness to work in other areas of the Club including bars and restaurant
• Accurate cash handling skills.
• Above average skill level in Microsoft Office and comfortable to use technical equipment operated in bingo environment.
• Data entry and reporting as required by applicable legislation and Management.
• Maintenance of pets, laptop and other equipment required in the use of bingo.
• Experience in general administration including banking.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to maintain walking/standing for up to four hours during bingo sessions
• Be able to lift and move some furniture and bingo equipment when required. Weight load may be up to 15kg.
