Are you our next Edge Educator?
We are currently recruiting for a number of casual positions in our three beautiful, ACT Centres located at Ngunnawal, Charnwood and Higgins. Your main duties will be supervising and interacting with the children, setting up activities and ensuring each one of our families feel welcome at our centres. You will also be required to:
- Nurture, care and educate children from birth to 5 years of age.
- Work collaboratively with fellow Educators to develop and implement inspirational educational programs.
- Document children's learning and development.
- Create a friendly, stimulating and interactive learning environment.
- Develop trusting and honest relationships with children, families, colleagues, management and community stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance of the EYLF and NQS
Mandatory skills and experience:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services
- Valid WWVP
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management (or willing to obtain)
- Mandatory Reporting Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Experience within Long Day Care
- Availability between 6am to 6:30pm for shifts as required
