Reporting to the Bakery Production Supervisor, this hands-on role is essential to our operational success, your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning all areas within a food manufacturing facility, including tools and surfaces
- Disposal of rubbish and storage containers
- Handing cleaning chemical and following food safety policies and procedures
- Maintaining Work Health and Safety while conducing cleaning duties
- Liaising with Managers and fellow co-workers
- Experience in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards compliant with food safety regulations specific to food manufacturing environments
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment
- Familiarity with proper handling and use of cleaning chemicals relevant to manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Take pride in your work
- A basic knowledge of HACCP and WHS is highly regarded
- A National Police Clearance (no older than six months old)
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
