About the role:
The City of Busselton Leisure Centres are looking to establish a casual pool of cleaning and maintenance officers for the Geographe Leisure Centre (GLC) and Naturaliste Community Centre (NCC). We are looking for dynamic individuals who value quality experience for our customers and members. The current available hours are based at the Naturaliste Community Centre with the candidate being able to backfill shifts at the Geographe Leisure Centre when needed.
Reporting to the Team Leader – Naturaliste Community Centre, this position is responsible for the cleanliness and presentation of the Naturaliste Community Centre including library, stadium, kitchens, crèche, all staff and public areas, specified leased areas, outdoor areas, public toilets and change rooms.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday between 5am-9am with the ability to work additional hours on occasion for leave coverage at both NCC and GLC facilities, on weekdays and weekends. Some duties can be physically demanding, including the requirement to move and lift equipment such as tables, chair stacks, weights, netball/volleyball poles, etc.
The person:
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience cleaning public facilities;
- Ability to work on own initiative;
- Must be highly flexible to accommodate diverse booking schedule
- Developed interpersonal and customer relation skills; and
- Developed knowledge of the operation of commercial cleaning machines.

- Current C Class drivers licence.
- National Police Clearance not more than six months old.
- Proof of right to work in Australia.
- Working with Children Check.
