About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for new Casual Deckhands to join our crew.
Responsibilities include provision of guest service and duties relevant to the vessels’ operations such as:

  • securing vessels to wharfs & moorings
  • safe loading, unloading and carriage of passengers and supplies
  • loading/disembarking of vehicles
  • assisting with service of guests via the onboard bar including sales, stock control and reconciliation
  • performing general cleaning and maintenance duties throughout the vessel including decks, breezeways, toilets, lounges, onshore facilities, storage and engine spaces
  • performing scheduled and general ship’s maintenance duties including painting, deck and general labour.
About You
You will have exceptional customer service skills and experience in handling difficult situations.
We are seeking individuals who are reliable and flexible with experience working in a fast past paced team environment. Given the nature of the tasks involved in the role, physical fitness is required.
A driver's licence is essential as is Elements of Shipboard Safety.
Experience in the tourism, hospital and marine industry is preferred, but not essential.
