Dendy Cinemas is an exciting, fast paced environment dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences and we are looking for talented and proactive Duty Managers to join our team!
Working closely with Senior Management, Duty Managers assist with the day to day running of the cinema complex, with the main objective to provide leadership, tackle any situation that may arise and ensure our cinema operates at the standard we and our customers expect.
We are looking for a team member with the following qualities / experience:
- Experience in managing teams in a fast-paced environment, including recruitment, training and supervision
- Strong customer service focus
- Problem solving skills in staff management, customer service and technical knowledge (digital cinema projection)
- Stock control and inventory management experience
- Excellent written and numeric skills
- Planning, organising and time management skills
- Good computer skills and general administration experience
- Initiative and high attention to detail with the ability to multitask
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Prior management experience and a record of accomplishment in Cinema, theatre or venue operations
Applicants must be available to work on a rotating roster.
The Cinema industry is a seven-day week environment and this position includes shift work on a roster that includes evenings, weekends and public holidays as the business requires. A full availability through the upcoming Christmas, New Years and school holiday period is a must. Dendy is closed on Christmas Day.
