Casual Educator - Augustine Heights

About the Opportunity
We are seeking to appoint a Casual Educator (Children’s Services Employee) at St Augustine's Long Day Care based in Augustine Heights.
We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic educators who are passionate about supporting children in their early years. You love helping them fulfil happiness through growing, development, and are committed to seeing them learn, all while having fun in a comfortable safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
• Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.
• Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
• Participate in professional and personal development.
• Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.
• You will be pivotal in developing our children's life long love of learning
• Have the ability to build a strong rapport with our families, educators and community

Job Requirements:

• If you are prepared to enrol in your Certificate III or already have a qualification and have a genuine passion for our sector we would be keen to meet with you
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Knowledge and understanding of the child care industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
• A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 months -Kindergarten aged in a play-based learning environment
• Effective workplace communication skills
