Are you our next casual Edge Educator?
Our Casual Educators play a very important role at our centres. No day is the same and you will find variety with each shift. You may cover lunches, programming, holidays/sick days (some on call work is required). Your main duties will be supervising and interacting with the children, setting up activities and ensuring each one of our families feel welcome at our centres. You will also be required to:
- Nurture, care and educate children from birth to 5 years of age.
- Work collaboratively with fellow Educators to develop and implement inspirational educational programs.
- Document children's learning and development.
- Create a friendly, stimulating and interactive learning environment.
- Develop trusting and honest relationships with children, families, colleagues, management and community stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance of the EYLF and NQS
- Be available at short notice, Monday to Friday
Qualifications
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or actively 'studying towards'
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Current Child Protection Training Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Current Blue Card
