Our busy General Practice has expanded to include a Community Nursing service. We are looking for enthusiastic nurses to join our team.
About You
You will be enthusiastic, able to work in a fast-paced environment, willing to learn new things, and most importantly provide support in alignment with customer care needs and goals. No two days will be the same. We are looking for nurses who are flexible, happy to work in both Community Nursing and/or General Practice.
Key responsibilities:
- Chronic disease management plans and health assessments
- Coordinated Veteran Care reviews
- Immunisations including uploading details to AIR
- Wound care
- Ear syringing
- Assisting with minor procedures
- Recalls, reminders and patient advocacy
- ECG's and spirometry
- Cold chain vaccine management
- Ordering stock and vaccines
- Medication support
Successful candidate will possess:
- Excellent communication skills
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current CPR certificate
- Ability to work independently and with a team – reliable & punctual
- Provide a caring and collaborative approach to patient care
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency with medical software (Best Practice is an advantage)
- Valid Driver's Licence
