This farm in the northern cropping region of WA has a Casual Farm Hand position available. The farm produces crops, wool, and lamb.
You will operate large modern farm machinery with GPS autosteer to prepare paddocks and seed wheat, barley, canola, and lupins, will carry out mechanical and general maintenance, and occasional sheep work.
The position starts in mid-April and goes until to end of July providing around 3.5 months’ work.
You need demonstrated previous tractor and air seeding experience and basic mechanical and general maintenance skills. You must have a manual driver’s licence, good fitness, and effective English communication skills.
The position is paid an hourly rate matching your experience and comes with your own room in an air-conditioned share house on farm including electricity and high-speed Wi-fi. If you do not have your own vehicle, buses run from Perth to Moora, and the farmer can collect you from the bus stop.
