Casual Instructor (Infrastructure)

Working closely with an experienced team, the Infrastructure Instructor will develop and deliver user focused training to the Australian Defence Force as part of an initiative to increase ADF Deployable Health Capability. Please note, this is a non-clinical role that will require some physical lifting capability.

Responsibilities of this role include:

• working with other instructors from a variety of clinical and allied health craft groups to redevelop an infrastructure equipment course
• supporting other technicians in the development of training material
• conduct and facilitate training on the equipment
• there may be elements of lifting heavy equipment in this role

Essential Experience and Qualifications:

• relevant tertiary or vocational qualifications with experience in deployable infrustructure or a related field
• analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyse complex issues and develop practical solutions
• competent in use of business software (MS Office such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word software)
• excellent verbal and written communication skills
• exceptional leadership and presenting skills
• experience servicing a broad range of medical equipment in tertiary hospitals and remote or deployable clinics is highly desirable.
