Casual Junior Rise Program Facilitator

About the Junior Rise Program:

The Junior Rise Program is a dynamic initiative aimed at providing academic support, mentorship, and personal development opportunities to young people in need. Through a range of activities and workshops, the program seeks to empower participants to overcome barriers, build resilience, and achieve their goals.

Position Overview:

As a Casual Junior Rise Facilitator, you will play a key role in the delivery of the Junior Rise Program collaborating with the referring school and working closely with participants to provide support, guidance, and encouragement.

Responsibilities may include:

• Facilitating workshops and activities aimed at promoting Social emotional development in a safe and progressive space.
• Providing one-on-one mentoring and support to program participants.
• Assisting with program planning, coordination, and evaluation.
• Building positive relationships with participants, families, and community stakeholders.

Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrated experience working with young people, preferably in a mentoring or facilitation role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants.
• Understanding of issues impacting young people and a commitment to promoting positive outcomes.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
