Better Medical is an owner - operator of General Practice clinics that operations across Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia. Our Integrated Medical Solutions Group (IMSG) is looking for Casual Medical receptionists to join our team, having availability to work casual shifts across all IMSG sites:
- Doctors at Eatons Hill
- Doctors at Morayfield
- Chermside Family Medical Practice
- Doctors at Newmarket
- Doctors at Landsborough
- Wamuran Doctors
- Woodford Doctors
About the position
The ideal candidates will have a strong customer focus, and enjoys working with a range of stakeholders including Doctors, Allied Health, Peers, Internal and External stakeholders and most importantly, our patients.
We are a fast-paced but very friendly, family-orientated private practices.
We are looking for someone who
- Is confident, professional, honest, reliable and has a great personality
- Has excellent verbal and communication skills with an exceptional phone manner
- Has good computer skills
- Has a high standard of presentation
- Has the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Has the ability to be flexible
Duties would include reception, appointment bookings, billing and general administrative duties.
Desired skills and experience:
- Professional approach with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Ability to manage within a busy workplace setting with fluctuating levels of demand
- Be able to work in a team environment and independently
- Flexibility to cover additional hours for sick and annual leave
- Availability to work across multiple sites
