Reporting to the State Field Manager - QLD this is a varied role, where you will take responsibility for the distribution, shelf management, promotion, and presentation of our range of known and trusted household products.
Availability between Tuesday to Thursday is essential with the ability to be flexible. Your hours will be varied, and you will work weekly, excluding a shutdown period over Christmas and New Year.
What you will do
- Build strong ongoing relationship with staff in supermarkets.
- Build and maintain product and promotional displays.
- Ensure all Simplot products are presented with correct facings and in the best possible position.
- Review and implementation of store planograms and layouts.
- Ensure sales and field plans are executed in each store.
- Achieve Territory Key Performance Indicators and field drive incentives.
This role is perfect for an someone with a passion for sales and marketing, looking for casual work or looking to kick-start their career with FMCG:
- You may be studying and looking for Casual employment within your study hours.
- You may be returning to work and ideally seeking flexibility with school hours.
- You may have recently completed study (Business, Marketing, Sales or Finance) and looking for that first-step into the Sales & Marketing industry.
You will be energetic, driven, and enthusiastic, with the ability to build lasting relationships. You will have exceptional planning skills and importantly enjoy working within a highly motivated Sales Team. This role could potentially lead to permanent opportunities in the future.
In addition:
- You will need a current driver's license and have a roadworthy vehicle.
- Physically fit and able to lift stock, building store displays and utilise Simplot's creative point of sale material (cardboard bins, banners and promotional material).
- Be proficient using a mobile device (iPad provided) to collate data and photograph displays.

- An allowance of $0.95c per kilometre travelled from your first store to your final store of the day.
- Hourly rate of $24.43 plus 25% Casual loading ($30.54 total) plus 11% superannuation.
Ideally you reside within the Gold Coast North of Queensland as you are required to have your own car for work purposes and will be reimbursed an allowance for travel home-to-home for kilometres travelled.
