AlburyCity are seeking a supportive Educator to work collaboratively within our teams to assist children with Additional Needs alongside their peers at our OOSH Services
Qualifications & experience
- Certificate IV in School Based Education Support or equivalent relevant experience.
- First Aid Certificate
- NSW WWCC
- Current Accredited Emergency Asthma Management Training
- Current Accredited Anaphylaxis Management Training
- To develop and maintain positive relationships with families of children with Additional Needs
- To prepare the environment for Additional Needs children to support inclusive practice to build tolerance and acceptance.
- To work with all staff as part of an efficient and effective team.
- To support individual children with Additional Needs to participate in the day to day experiences of OOSH.
- To program for individual children in ways that minimise activity limitations and participation restrictions.
Based on a 38 Hour Week: Working 25 hours per week in accordance with facility roster. After School Care hours during school terms:
- Monday to Friday, 1pm - 6pm.
- Monday to Friday, 7am – 9am.
Holiday periods)
Rosters prepared to incorporate the following spread of days and hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm, staff on occasion may be asked to work split shifts.
