About us
Canberra City Gymnastics Club is a not-for-profit club operating for over 40 years in the Canberra Community. We provide a wide range of programs, including working with children from 6 months old through to adults, with schools both in the club and at the school venues. With flexibility around work schedules, coaching with CCGC is a fun and rewarding experience where you are sure to learn new skills, make new friends and have fun while working.
Qualifications & experience
- While experience is preferred, full on-the-job training can be provided
- Holds Working With Vulnerable People Card or ability to obtain one
- Gymnastics Australia Technical Membership will be required, but can be obtained once hired
- Preferred ability to work across both venues and travel to off-site programs
- Preferred First-Aid qualification, however training will be run regularly within the club
Tasks & responsibilities
- Teach gymnastics to a wide range of participants in a fun and engaging environment
- Opportunities to work with people with disabilities to help develop their physical literacy
- Working with people of all ages and skill levels
