We are currently accepting applications for a Retail Sales Assistant, based at our Eagle Farm Store on a casual basis, with the potential for up to 24 hours per week, with shifts available across Monday to Friday. As a Sales Assistant, you will provide exceptional customer service to all of our customers to maximise their experience. You will be ambitious and try your best to upsell the sale with our diverse range of products and services. You will be a team player, providing support in maintaining the upkeep of the store and replenishment of our stock.
THE ROLE
The key focus areas of the role include:
- Greeting customers and providing exceptional customer service
- Demonstrating sales techniques to support our customers in making an informed purchasing decision
- Daily stock and merchandising duties
- Dealing with all aspects of till operation
- Update and develop the Store databases
- Answering telephone, sales queries, placement of orders for direct delivery, quotations
- Receiving, checking off and merchandising deliveries of replenishment stock
- Other general retail responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Customer facing role experience (retail or other)
- Catering equipment/technical product knowledge or industrial retailer experience (desirable)
- Experience working with POS systems and/or warehouse/inventory systems
- Driven and possesses willingness to learn new tasks
- Enjoys building rapport with customers and team members alike.
