ABOUT THE ROLE
Working in our global client's corporate office, you will join our team of 8 Officers, reporting to our supportive Security Supervisor, and each shift you will work with 2 Officers and our Supervisor. The role is a mix of reception officer duties, security patrols, access control, and CCTV monitoring. This is a people-facing role where the use of technology is key - so we are looking for someone with previous security experience, a passion to progress their career in security, a learning mindset, problem-solving abilities, neat and tidy personal presentation, and exemplary customer service skills.
Responsibilities of the position include:
Customer Service & Reception Duties - Assist with staff and visitor queries, issue visitor passes, process incoming and outgoing parcels, assist contractors, receive phone calls from staff and external parties, and manage the access control systems onsite.
Security Patrols - Conduct regular mobile foot patrols in and around the facility, prepare any required incident reports, bring any required items to the security office for inspection, and liaise with facilities management regarding anything that may need to be attended to or fixed.
CCTV Monitoring - Monitor what is happening in several areas of the building via numerous CCTV cameras onsite, ensure access control is maintained, and investigate and report on any potential incidents.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Western Australian Security License.
Current First Aid & CPR Qualification (CPR must have been renewed in the past 12 months).
Computer-literate and comfortable using the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Teams, etc.)
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to speak with people at all levels of an organisation.
Experience with CCTV and using access control systems.
THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend a 30-minute online interview via Google Meet.
If successful after the interview, the G4S Talent Acquisition team will email you a series of items to complete and return, including your ID, relevant qualifications, a police check, and references.
You will also need to complete and pass a pre-employment medical assessment which includes drug and alcohol screening.
Upon passing, you'll receive an employment contract plus a final set of Onboarding Forms to complete.
