Metal Mart currently has a vacancy for an experienced store/ Warehouse Person within our steel sales division. This position would suit someone with prior warehouse/store experience. Working some weekdays and some Saturdays
The position duties include but not limited to:
- Responding to our customers face to face, over the phone and via the internet.
- Unloading of trucks (with a Forklift)
- Preparing orders
- Putting stock away and receiving stock
We are looking for people with sound communication skills, who are hard working, honest, and can think on their feet. You will need good organisational skills and have a sound attention to detail. Most importantly, you will like people, sales and providing excellent service.
Experience in the steel industry is not essential, however a good attitude and friendly nature is. We will train the right person across all parts of the business.
To be considered for this position, you will need following skills …
- A commitment to customer service
- Ability to interact with the general public
- A commitment to Workplace safety
- Good organisational skills
- A forklift licence
- Comprehension and understanding of warehouse safety
This role does contain some heavy lifting, so you will need to be physically fit. We do provide all the necessary tools to get the job done so you will never be short of help.
