We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Category and Channel Strategy Manager to join our team at Asahi Lifestyle Beverages.
Reporting to the Head of Growth Strategy & Perfect Store, the role will focus on our “Away from Home” Channel, and will see you create a long term, collaborative platform around where and how to grow our key categories across different customers in the channel.
This role would suit a strategic thinking National Account Manager, Category Development Manager or Customer/Trade Marketing professional looking for their next challenge.
Key responsibilities:
- Support Category Growth Strategy development & tailoring to Channel
- Responsible for integration of the category and customer strategy
- Strategic Customer Engagement & JBP development support alongside account teams
- Set strategic direction into Range Reviews in line with joint strategy and POP Vision
- Define long term POP architecture by strategic customer across perfect store to unlock growth drivers & leverage channel-based shopper opportunities
- Support the perfect store and shopper manager with strategic direction from the business and customer
- Conduit with internal stakeholder or sales, category planning, marketing and insights, ensuring alignment & consistency across priorities & drive business focus
- Work closely with the Revenue management team on customer and channel opportunities to drive growth
- Embed channel dislocation strategies and opportunities for long term growth outside of pack, price architecture
- Be the voice of the customer and channel in internal forums
About You
Leveraging your strategic mindset, analytical prowess, and deep understanding of customer behaviour, you will develop and execute data-driven strategies that drive growth, improve profitability, and elevate our competitive positioning. Other key attributes we would like to see:
- Tertiary qualification – Commerce or Marketing preferred
- Extensive FMCG experience in Sales, Category, Development, Marketing (Commercial Function)
- Experience in developing & executing Category Strategies
- People management experience advantageous
- Category Development experience desirable
