About the Role:
Reporting to the Contracts Manager this role will support a diverse category portfolio. You will manage contract lifecycle strategies from sourcing to phase-out, aiming to maximise benefits and generate sustainable value for Coronado Curragh. We encourage applications from current Administration Officers and Office Managers looking to take the next step in their career.
Your role will be interesting and varied and will include:
- Proactively support strategic sourcing activities for one or more spend categories, aiming for significant initial cost reductions while enhancing product quality and vendor service levels.
- Identify under-performing vendor results proactively and address them to optimize vendor performance.
- Collaborate closely with key operational and business stakeholders to execute effective cost reduction strategies and associated implementation plans.
- Provide support and advice for a category portfolio throughout the contract lifecycle, ensuring competitive whole-of-life arrangements that meet or exceed Coronado's objectives.
- Continuously evaluate procurement framework and procedures aligned with the contract lifecycle strategic framework, recommending improvements and efficiencies to the Manager Contracts.
- Champion change by pursuing best practices with stakeholders, evaluating and improving sourcing, contracting, managing, and closing phases of the contract lifecycle collaboratively, and delivering successful outcomes through teamwork.
- Demonstrate accountability in delivering best practices and high-performance business outcomes for the assigned vendor portfolio.
About You
Key to your success will be your:
- Financial acumen and negotiation skills, coupled with proficiency in business management.
- Preference for candidates with an Undergraduate Degree or relevant experience in end-to-end Category Management or similar roles.
- While experience in Mining resourcing is advantageous, it is not mandatory for this position.
- Proficiency with ERP Systems, with experience in Oracle being desirable but not essential.
