About the role
This role assists our Cook to provide delicious, nutritious meals to guests in our Aboriginal Short Stay Accommodation Service and assists in regular kitchen operation to deliver quality meals. The position is part time role and requires 52 hours a fortnight.
About you
You’ll have a positive and flexible approach with assisting in the kitchen and providing quality customer service. With the ability to manage cleanliness, assist in kitchen audits and stock control you’ll also have:
- Kitchen Hand experience is desired
- Experience in a commercial cooking environment
- Knowledge of dietary nutrition for the Aboriginal people
- Love of great presentation and able to prepare meals according to a menu plan
- COVID and Influenza vaccinations are preferred but not required
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
